At the top of my "love to watch" list is reality TV. I watch Amazing Race, Top Chef, Top Chef Desserts, Hell's Kitchen, Survivor, Project Runway, The Apprentice and Big Brother. Here's my quick run-down of my reality shows.
Amazing Race: Sad to see the sweet adopted daughter/birth mother team get eliminated. Since I'm adopted I definitely have a soft spot in my heart for that team.
Top Chef: Over way too fast.
Top Chef Desserts: Too much drama! Who knew that a bunch of pastry chefs and bakers could be so cutthroat.
Hell's Kitchen: Chef Ramsey swears way too much. I can't ever watch this show with my boys because there are too many words getting "bleeped" out. I think Gordon needs some bi-polar medication.
Survivor: Two words. Nay Onka. She is PSYCHO! I can't believe she's a PE teacher, nor can I believe that the younger tribe is dumb enough to keep her on.
Project Runway: Gretchen thinks way too much of herself. I know you can sew, design, all that la la la, but can't you also be nice?
The Apprentice: David is CRAZY! You're divorced? I wonder why! If I was your ex-wife and watching the show, I would definitely keep my distance. I would also be filing my papers with the court to keep your crazy self the mandatory 100 feet away from any of my personal space.
And speaking of Survivor and The Apprentice, what's up with the asian haters? First got rid of the asian on The Apprentice (even though the Boston DA needs to shut her mouth and go). Then try to get rid of cute Brenda on Survivor. Let's keep it peaceful people.
This is my reality TV conclusion. Crazy people sell. And they sell big. So keep the crazies, because it's much more fun watching them. Besides, it makes my life seem calm in comparison. And I can definitely use some calm.
