I know I said earlier that crazy sells. And it does. But after awhile, even I can take only so much crazy. So with this post I bid fond farewell to the crazies who've been sent home (none to soon I might add).
Hell's Kitchen: Raj - farewell to you, I will miss your karate kick and delusions. Melissa - I was rooting for you girl. But when you cook over 20 steaks (before they're needed) and ruin nearly 7 lbs of seafood, there's no hope. And Boris, dear Boris, I will miss your accent but for heaven's sake, your sweaty head was too much! Get a beanie Boris.
Top Chef: Just Desserts: Seth - while I've enjoyed your neurosis and paranoia and lashing out at basically anything that looks in your direction, it's time for you to go. Enough drama, let's bake! (and be sure to take your baking cups with you when you go). Malika - enough of your whining, like so many contestants before you who gave up before their elimination, may you be stronger next time. And finally Heather C - as if one elimination per season wasn't enough, you came back just in time to get your sorry rear kicked off again. You and your constant complaining will not be missed.
P.S. I was just on the Top Chef: Just Desserts website. Their profile pics look nothing like them. Can I have the Bravo camera-guy come take a picture of me?
The Apprentice: Now I really do like the premise of this show, giving people who've been hit hard by the economy a second chance. But what about the "real" hard workers? What about the dad who's working 2 jobs trying to support a large family? What about the single mother? I don't feel much compassion for the millionaires who didn't have the wherewithall to put some money away and not spend it all on a gigantic house or that 7th unnecessary car. That being said, I cannot, CANNOT believe that David is still here. When he finally gets "fired" and believe me, he will, I will do a dance in my room, down the stairs, out the door and in the circle. For all to see. But for the time being, here is a warning to all remaining Apprentice contestants: If Mahsa holds your hand walking out of the boardroom after surviving yet another firing, WATCH OUT! She will turn on you and gut you quicker than she plucks her crazy eyebrows.
That's all for now. Until next time.
This is for those who don't take life too seriously and just want to laugh. For those who watch too much tv, eat out at too many restaurants and have way too many opinions.

Giving Birth
First of all. Don't stop reading. This is not a post about the delivery of my 2 boys. Ugh. I don't do that. But, I'm super excited that this blog is up and running. Even though I may be the only one reading it, it sure does make me smile. It makes me think of Zac (on Top Chef Just Desserts) and his comparison between making a great dessert and giving birth. Um Zac, I don't think you'll ever experience the latter nor will I experience the first. So we'll never know, will we?
And I have to give sufficent thank you kisses to Sara Jones for facebooking about my new blog. Is it any wonder she's my BFF?

Enough Fluff. Let's Blog.
Sometimes I get fluffy (like my previous post). Mostly I'm just super sarcastic. I blame my mother for that. I've decided that a blog is a great way to get all your thoughts out there. You don't have to expose yourself to criticism (even though people are able to comment) and I always tell Michael (my sweetie) that I think I'm pretty funny and people everywhere should experience it. Besides, even if people comment negatively, at least they're reading and commenting. Right? Right!
Sara Jones
I realize that I've written 4 blogs and haven't even mentioned my best friend in the WHOLE WIDE WORLD. Sara Jones. Sara's one of those friends you don't ever see coming. She's like comfy (yet very stylish) shoes. I adore her. She's been there at my lowest lows and highest highs and she cheers me on every second. She believes in me when I don't believe in myself. I am grateful for her every day.
Reality Shows
At the top of my "love to watch" list is reality TV. I watch Amazing Race, Top Chef, Top Chef Desserts, Hell's Kitchen, Survivor, Project Runway, The Apprentice and Big Brother. Here's my quick run-down of my reality shows.
Amazing Race: Sad to see the sweet adopted daughter/birth mother team get eliminated. Since I'm adopted I definitely have a soft spot in my heart for that team.
Top Chef: Over way too fast.
Top Chef Desserts: Too much drama! Who knew that a bunch of pastry chefs and bakers could be so cutthroat.
Hell's Kitchen: Chef Ramsey swears way too much. I can't ever watch this show with my boys because there are too many words getting "bleeped" out. I think Gordon needs some bi-polar medication.
Survivor: Two words. Nay Onka. She is PSYCHO! I can't believe she's a PE teacher, nor can I believe that the younger tribe is dumb enough to keep her on.
Project Runway: Gretchen thinks way too much of herself. I know you can sew, design, all that la la la, but can't you also be nice?
The Apprentice: David is CRAZY! You're divorced? I wonder why! If I was your ex-wife and watching the show, I would definitely keep my distance. I would also be filing my papers with the court to keep your crazy self the mandatory 100 feet away from any of my personal space.
And speaking of Survivor and The Apprentice, what's up with the asian haters? First got rid of the asian on The Apprentice (even though the Boston DA needs to shut her mouth and go). Then try to get rid of cute Brenda on Survivor. Let's keep it peaceful people.
This is my reality TV conclusion. Crazy people sell. And they sell big. So keep the crazies, because it's much more fun watching them. Besides, it makes my life seem calm in comparison. And I can definitely use some calm.

Purpose of this blog ...
Now that I've gotten all of the "preliminary" messiness out of the way, let's get to the real point of this blog. The intention is merely to entertain. As I have previously mentioned, I watch much too much TV and have multiple opinions and thought this the best way to share my opinions with the world. So let's get started.
Favorite Hobbies/Past-Times
Before I start on my list of hobbies/past-times, let me say a few things. I am a Korean-American, adopted many years ago. I have 2 adorable boys: PJ, age 7 and CJ, age 5. My husband is wonderful and puts up with all of my "weirdness" and I have 2 part-time jobs.
Now, on to my list of hobbies. I love, love, LOVE to watch TV. Seriously. I went to a Relief Society dinner a couple of Christmas' ago and we were asked to bring something that we treasured. And yes, you guessed it, I brought my remote control. I will expand on my EXTENSIVE list of TV shows later on. In addition to watching TV, I love to read books, go out to eat, watch movies and waste many countless hours on facebook. This is all in addition to and definitely in second place to spending time with my family.

Here we go!
Let me start out by explaining how this blog came about. I was messing around on facebook (one of my favorite past-times) and my friend DJ Waldow tweeted something that caught my eye. Normally I read the quick tweets and go about my business, but this one was interesting so I clicked and was sent to a blog. I proceeded to read the story and was intrigued, not necessarily by the story itself, but by the power behind blogging. I thought to myself, "I have thoughts, I should start a blog." But then I thought, what to blog about? What would people find interesting? What's interesting enough for me to blog about? Then I thought about my favorite hobbies.
